How do I save money on a Budget

  1. For entertainment go to free events in your area meetup.com always have wide selection of free events and sometimes in comes with food :-), go hiking in nature

  2. Always buy food on sale and in multiples ( when on sale), for example there is sale on your favorite icecream, pick up 2

  3. Buy clothes on sale, there is no need to buy clothes full price - I never buy clothes full price

  4. Order online, there is sometimes better bargains and google the item, there might be a better price in another online store

  5. Eating out is not an option, make and take your lunch where ever possible

  6. Set a specific amount for saving and under NO circumstances spend it. You can also use your savings to invest in a better a job such as a certification so that you earning power is higher. Earn more Save more

  7. Think about things before you buy them, ask yourself do you need it or want it?

  8. If travelling, bring along your snacks and breakfast option.. And then shop at the local supermarket, never a touristic restaurant

  9. Invest in quality not quantity. For example I would buy a  200 US Coat that would last me several winters instead of a coat that costs 50US

  10. Cook your meals

PS. Many people opt thrift or buy second hand, that is not a preference of mine :-)
