My Coq au vin Experience!

Before my journey to France, I was already intrigued by french culture and french food. I was so interested that I began to immerse myself the french way. One of the things I tried was cooking coq au vin which is chicken in wine. Basically you season your pieces of chicken with onions, seasoning salt, and whatever else you like. Then you place the chicken in a heated pan with oil, cook for about 45 minutes, then you simmer it down with the wine, kind of creating a sauce. This seemed pretty easy, however I added to much wine, after eating I felt extremely sleepy, basically I became drunk after cooking my coq au vin... Lol..Therefore for anyone cooking the french dish coq au vin, Please do not add too much wine!.
